Milk Thistle Extract Tablets 4000 mg

Milk Thistle has been used for years as a 'Liver Tonic' with research suggesting that milk thistle extract can prevent and repair damage caused by toxins and medication. Milk thistle is also used as a 'hang over cure' by some people as an aid to help rid the body of the toxins after heavy drinking. For milk thistle to be effective, an adequate level of silymarin, the active compound, needs to be taken. Our tablets contain a concentrated extract of milk thistle standardised to 80% silymarin. This means each tablet contains the equivalent of 4,000 mg of milk thistle seed and a full 80 mg of silymarin.
